Andrew Marsh is one of the longest serving general managers across the Nadler group of hotels, a pioneering collection of boutique properties headed up by Robert Nadler. The group consists of four properties – three in London and one in Liverpool – with one earmarked for Manchester in 2019.
Andrew Marsh heads up The Nadler Liverpool and has done since 2012 when he first joined the team and experienced his life taste of Nadler proceedings. Within two years his excellent knowledge of Liverpool and the industry as a whole saw the hotel exceed budgeted profit and turnover in 2014 and 2015, and as a result, The Nadler Liverpool was propelled to the number two spot for hotels in the city on TripAdvisor.
Marsh also boasts one of the best staff retention rates in the group; he is personable, approachable and respected and creates a fun, exciting and interesting work place for his team, excelling in leadership and development of his staff. He is also now responsible for some of the training functions for all new starters in across the group including induction training, health and safety training and COSHH training.
He is also part of the project team reviewing the Nadler Hotels cyber security procedures, and PMS systems. His support to the other properties in the Nadler portfolio extends further than logistics and systems however. He mentored the new GM of The Nadler Victoria prior to her start date and supported the group’s flagship The Nadler Soho through an interim period from autumn 2015 through to February 2016 while a new general manager was found. He often steps in to support the business above and beyond the call of duty and has become an invaluable asset to the company.
